Question: Why should we care about gold?

Simple sentence answer: Gold makes incredible art.
Details:
1.  Reflects light to create a beautiful luster, which never loses its brilliance (16).
2.  Easy to form gold into elaborate shapes (16).
3.  Used to show people what is sacred or treasured (17).

Simple sentence answer: Gold can be used against radiation.
Details:
1.   A super thin film of gold can reflect the sun’s rays to prevent extreme heat or brightness (20).
2.   Reflects infrared radiation to protect from heat (21).
3.  Gold-plated telescope mirrors protect from the radiation produced by the stars (21).

Details
1.  Can destroy cancerous cells in the prostate glands and the ovaries (24).

                Through hard work and incredibly high value there are multiple uses for this magnificent element. In my opinion gold belongs at the top of the most valued elements; that is why there are so many uses for it. I also thought there would be way more purposes for gold since it is valued so highly over other elements. Last of all I believe the brilliance of gold makes this precious element something we should care about.
