Listen to Novels Online!

Want to hear a story?

There are lots of read-along books available through the Fraser Valley Public Library. You don’t even need to have a public library card!  Below are some titles you might recognize from our school library. Try listening to them online.  If your teacher wants you take AR tests, take them at school after listening online.

Here’s how to get to these free books:
1. Go to http://www.fvrl.bc.ca .
2. Look near the bottom of the right hand column for ‘Online Resources’. Click on it.
3. Look under
Find By Subject for ‘Books, Authors, E-Books & Audio Books’. Click.
4. Look near the end of the list for ‘Tumblereadable Library’. Click.
5. In the search box, type any of the titles listed below or browse through the categories. ‘Read-Along’ or ‘2-in-1’ next to titles indicates an audio track.
6. Have fun!

You can use the menu options to go directly to a specific chapter, so you won’t have to listen to an entire novel at once.  You can pause by using the bookmark option. You can also stop, later go back online, and start at the chapter where you left off.
