There are thousands of novels, so many that it can be hard to find one that tells the story you are waiting to hear. The story that feels right, that answers the silent questions you have about life. The one that feels like it was written just for you. How can you find it?

Well, you can ask me. I’ll ask you some questions: What’s a novel you’ve liked? What’s a picture book you’ve liked? What do you enjoy doing? And then I’ll look at you and think through all the stories in my head.

If you’d rather choose books from home, there’s another way you can find the right book. First, look through the index on the right at all the bibliographies. If you liked ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’, click on the list that gives similar books. If you like stories about war, click on the list called ‘Stories of War’. There are lots of lists from which you can choose.

One thing is sure: the story you will enjoy is waiting for you. It’s out there. You just have to find it. Don’t give up!
